There are a number of features that are enabled by Sony’s software development such as GPS, Smile Shutter, Face Detection and Image Stabilization. GPS or Geotagging allows you to track the position of your shots when on the move and once home and downloaded on the laptop, you can superimpose them onto a map to document your route in pictures. Smile Shutter takes a still photo of your subject while in video mode when it detects a smile and the Face Detection will bring out better focus and detail of faces against backgrounds to provide better pictures. The Image Stabilisation controls the camera shake effects on the images especially in low light allowing overall better shots.

The Sony is famous for many developments in camcorder technology and enhanced features and the TG7V has many more to discover. Check the TG7V specifications and consider this camcorder in your options to buy.

The Hotpoint - Ariston FF4D X Fridge Freezer a Good Alternative to the Larder Fridge Freezers

The Hotpoint - Ariston FF4D X Fridge Freezer, also known as the Hotpoint Quadrio FF4DX, takes the American fridge concept of space with the practicality of a multi-compartment fridge freezer and put it into a single unit. With the 2 door larder upper fridge compartment there is a massive 295 litres of storage for all the fresh food with 102 litres of freezer space spread in the lower 2 drawer layout for easy access.  The super cool and super freeze functions of the fridge freezer mean that newly introduced foods are quickly chilled or frozen to the same temperature as foods already being chilled allowing them to last longer and fresher.

The fridge compartment is split in two and is equipped with 4 shelves, an egg tray, all of which are made with safety glass. The whole appliance measures 190 x 700 x 723 mm and is designed to stand alone in a dedicated space, it is Energy A rated and consumes approximately 427 KWh per annum, thus keeping the electricity bills manageable.

The FF4D X scores extremely well in real life use, owners are well pleased with its quietness, the number of features, its design, the capacity to store and keep food at the right and temperature and its overall build quality. This may not be the answer to put in an apartment unless the bedrooms and lounge are well separated from the kitchen since the special circulation system of the FF4D X with the vents makes a low noise (but nothing over bearing), however, this is no issue in a house.

Compare the FF4DX specifications and features against the American style fridge freezers and you’ll realize it is good value for money.

Sonic Colours for the DS - The Best Sonic So Far

The Sega Sonic Colours For DS builds on the popular fairground theme from Sega after the successful launch of the Sonic Classic Collection. The story is based on the principal villain character Dr. Eggman, the evil character in the Sonic Series, who has constructed a massive theme park in the sky to pay for his previous misdemeanors, the hero Sonic of course doesn't believe his intent and accompanied by Tails goes up to the park to check it out. The Nintendo DS version of the game allows more characters to get involved compared to the Wii version, but both are action packed and fun.

The aim of the game is to pass through various stages using the featured Wisps or tools to help get round obstacles and enemies. There are 6 different Wisps, for example, the burst wisp to knock out airborne intruders with a fireball, a drill wisp to bore through soft ground, a cyan wisp to allow Sonic to boost around as a laser beam for cutting corners all of which have their distinct colour codes. Sonic also can jump, stomp, attack and slide to help navigate the stages.

Sonic Colours is very well suited for the 5 year olds, the graphics are sharp with the game designers providing the scenes with bright and vibrant colours. The controls are easy to master with a combination of using the console stylus and the X and Y buttons.

The game is well rated so do some research to learn of the features and Sonic Colours specifications to see if appropriate for your child.
